If I had a mantra, it would be “keep curious” Throughout my career as a design director, illustrator and consultant, I’ve aimed to combine accumulated knowledge with a trained eye and a thirst for discovery.

My design career with the most creative product design companies gave me the freedom to create whilst utilizing all these skills, making original product and applying my original pattern or pattern through texture to them.

Paiting is where the two worlds merge. Influenced by the coast, growing up in the countryside in Wales and the constant observation of landscape, the atmosphere of weather people, flora, colour and details.

Pattern play, study and analysis is a constant: inspirational sources are everywhere; from a printed endpaper in a vintage book, to the cast shadow of a trellis or a decorative tile.this site records those moments………..
